We know that conserving nature is important for survival but what can one person do?
By supporting the Westchester Land Trust (WLT) you can helps us maintain a balance between the natural and built environments. WLT is essential to the quality and permanence of our region’s natural environment. In the past three years, WLT has preserved 1,090 acres, including forests; wildlife habitats; watershed areas that provide drinking water for New York City, Westchester County, and Connecticut; and wetlands which help reduce flooding and infrastructure costs.
Here are a few ways your support can make the kind of difference in our environment that lasts for generations:
$100 Cares for and restores land through native tree and shrub plantings.
$250 Provides tools to clear trails and increase public accessibility to preserves.
$1,000 Underwrites a one-year license for mapping software used to identify valuable lands rich in
biodiversity and watershed areas.
$2,500 Helps sponsor a summer intern & fosters a promising environmental leader.
